The By-Pass Open August 30, 2000 Around 5:30 P.M.

Total estimated cost of the Irvine bypass in excess of $8 Million Dollars.
Estimated cost of the bridge is around $5.2 Million Dollars.

The Irvine bypass is being built by three different contractors.

Judy Construction is the Prime Contractor.
  1. Superintendent: Donnie Lewis
  2. Crane Operator: Curtis Smith
Judy Construction Company from Cythiana, Kentucky is doing the bridge for the bypass.
Rifle Coal Company from West Liberty, Kentucky is doing the southside of the bypass south of the Kentucky river.
Hinkle Contracting Corporation from Paris, Kentucky is doing the northside of the bypass north of the Kentucky river.

Hayes Drilling Inc. from Kansas City, Missouri is doing the core drilling for the bridge piers.
Garceveur Corporation from Louisville, Kentucky is pumping the concrete for the bridge piers.
Javier Steel is doing the Steel bridge beams
